Excellent double-sider by the indefatigable Japanese trio, the 5.6.7.8’s. You May Dream is a cover of Japanese Rock band Sheena and the Rokkets. In the hands of he trio, this song sounds like the Shangri-Las produced by Phil Spector and sung in Japanese. What’s not to like? On the B-side, you’ll find a version of Neal Hefti’s Batman Theme played with gusto and tons of fuzz. It is worth noting that Sheena and the Rokkets also played the Batman Theme on their debut album in 1979.
